BOYS AND GIRLS 8TH GRADE OPEN HOUSE SKATE

Chicago Central (CC) is a 501c3 non-profit AHAI affiliated high school hockey program. CC is a no-cut combined high school hockey program with boys and girls teams competing successfully at the top levels of Illinois High School hockey. Girl’s Varsity team were 2021-2022 League and IL State Champions. The Boys’ Varsity were 2021-2022 Final Four State Tournament Final Four Participants. The Boys JV were 2022-23 league gold champions.

Current 9th – 12th grade students at Francis W. Parker School, Latin School of

Chicago, Lincoln Park High School, University of Chicago Laboratory School, Walter Payton College Prep, Whitney Young Magnet High School are welcome to inquire. AHAI determines school alignment.

CC boy’s teams play in the IHSHL North Central league, https://www.ihshlnorthcentral.com/, and have recently matriculated players to the college ranks at schools including Denver, Duquesne, Fordham, Notre Dame, NYU, Texas, and Wake Forest.

Current 9th – 12th grade students at Lane Tech College Prep, Latin School of Chicago,

Lincoln Park High School, Saint Ignatius College Prep, University of Chicago Laboratory School, Whitney Young Magnet High School are welcome to inquire. AHAI determines school alignment. CC girl’s teams play in the Metro League, https://www.metrogirlshockey.com/, and have recently matriculated players to the collegiate ranks at schools including Arizona State, Harvard, Miami of Ohio University, Princeton, Trinity College, University of Connecticut, University of Vermont, and Gustavus Adolphus.

The Season – Pre-season clinics and tryouts for team placement start in mid August each year. The regular season runs from September through February yearly, and state playoffs generally occur at the end of February and early March. CC players may be considered for double roster and play for additional club hockey teams in tier 2 NIHL, CSDHL, and Tier 1 AAA leagues.
