Nick Santelli
Head Hockey Program Director
Chicago Central Hockey Club is proud to have Nick Santelli join us as the Head Hockey Director. A Chicago native with extensive experience in player development, coaching, and program management, Nick brings a well-rounded background to the organization.
Nick has coached at St. Ignatius College Prep, New Trier, DePaul University, and multiple youth programs, as well as serving as the Director of Strength & Conditioning for the Northern Express CSDHL program. He also spent several years with the Chicago Blackhawks and Colorado Avalanche, leading youth development programs and overseeing game-day operations.
As Hockey Director, Nick is committed to fostering a competitive, player-focused environment that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and character. His leadership and experience will help drive Chicago Central’s success both on and off the ice.
Bruce Turpin
Girls Program Director, Varsity Head Coach
Bruce is a Level 5 USA Hockey certified coach with over 20 years of head coaching experience. He is the current Director of Player and Coaching Development and Girls Hockey Director with the Elmhurst Chiefs. Bruce’s coaching background includes an 8-year tenure as the York High School Hockey Director and Varsity Head Coach, as well as time with the Chicago Blues, Northbrook Bluehawks, Winnetka Warriors, Loyola Academy and CYA Girls hockey.
Bruce was born and raised in Canada. He currently lives in Oak Park and has two children Calder and Wren, who both play hockey and are goalies.
